The Rover Den is a classic log cabin heated with a wood burning stove. The cabin is set-up for 4 season camping and is surrounded by woods with easy access from the road. It's possible to drive right up to the cabin for easy loading/unloading. The cabin has 3 beds with overhead storage on the lower level and room for more in the loft. For user groups who bring a generator, the Rover Den is wired for light and power. There is plenty of space nearby for tenting and working on pioneering projects.

The Rover Den does not have a kitchen. User groups must come prepared to be entirely self sufficient for all meal preparation and clean up including water supply.

The large fire pit near the cabin can accommodate formal or informal campfires.
